A Playful Photoshoot with Reggie the Cocker Spaniel at Coombe Abbey

This week, I had the pleasure of photographing Reggie, a lively and playful Cocker Spaniel, at the beautiful Coombe Abbey Country Park. From the moment he arrived, his boundless energy and enthusiasm made it clear this was going to be a fun-filled session!

The Perfect Setting for a Photoshoot

Coombe Abbey always provides a stunning backdrop for pet photography, and on this particular day, the weather was on our side. The sunlight filtered through the trees, casting a warm glow that made Reggie’s glossy coat shine beautifully in every shot. Natural light is always my preference, and this session reminded me just how magical it can be.

A Joy to Photograph

While some pets take a little warming up to the camera, Reggie was an absolute natural. His playful nature meant I had to be quick with my shots, but that’s all part of the fun! With his floppy ears bouncing and his tail wagging non-stop, he made every frame come to life with energy and charm.

Treats, Toys, and Tail Wags

To keep Reggie engaged and bring out his best expressions, we used plenty of treats and his favorite ball. He was more than happy to chase after it, leap into action, and show off his playful personality. His excitement was contagious, and his joy in the moment made for some incredible action shots. Whether he was running through the grass or posing proudly with his ball, every moment captured his fun-loving spirit.

Final Thoughts

It was a delight to photograph Reggie at Coombe Abbey. His boundless energy and happy personality shone through in every image. I can’t wait to share the final photos with his owners—I’m sure they’ll love them as much as I do!
