A Stunning Location for a Handsome Pup

Coombe Abbey provided a beautiful natural backdrop for our session. With its vast woodlands, open fields, and charming pathways, it was the ideal setting to capture Harvey’s personality. Although the weather wasn’t in our favor—clouds covered the sky, limiting the natural light—I was able to work around this to ensure the images still had a warm and natural feel.

A Favourite Moment

Every session has that one standout shot, and for me, it was the very first image we captured—Harvey standing proudly with his front paws on a tree trunk. The way the scene was framed, combined with his confident expression, made it a truly special photograph. It set the tone for the rest of the session and perfectly encapsulated Harvey’s charm.

A Picture-Perfect Shoot with Harvey the Border Terrier at Coombe Abbey

There’s something special about photographing a dog who is completely in tune with their owner, and Harvey, the Border Terrier, was the perfect example of that during our recent photo shoot at Coombe Abbey.

Harvey: The Perfect Model

From the moment we started, Harvey was a dream to work with. He was completely focused, happy, and eager to follow his owner’s directions. His cheeky yet handsome attitude came across effortlessly in the shots, making my job all the more enjoyable. There’s something so rewarding about working with a dog who not only listens well but also has a personality that shines through the lens.

The Joy of Pet Photography

Despite the cloudy weather, this shoot was a reminder of why I love pet photography so much. Capturing the bond between a pet and their owner, as well as showcasing a dog’s unique personality, is always such a rewarding experience. Harvey made this session an absolute pleasure, and I’m thrilled with the final results.
